Meet Our Staff
Richard Panek, MCITP, MCTS, MCSE, MCSA, MCP, MCT
Richard started working on computers in 1985 as a hobby. He then found himself working on Vehicle Maintenance databases in the military and earned his first MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) in Windows NT 4.0. He then, through self-study, earned his MCSE in Windows Server 2000. He then became an MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) in 2001. Richard then earned an MCSE and MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) Windows Server 2003 in 2004. Most recently, he earned the most coveted MCITP: Enterprise Administrator (Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional) in 2010. He is also an MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) in Windows 7 Configuration, Windows Server 2008 Active Directory Configuration, Windows Server 2008 Network Infrastructure Configuration, and Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration. He worked for the US State Department servicing computers for the National Passport Agency and for a technology company in the Tampa Bay Area. Richard has a passion for computers and opened East Bay IT to show computer users that they do not have to settle for substandard service. There is a better way and he has shown hundreds of clients and countless walk-ins what the difference good technology service makes.
Passionate about computers from an early age, Daniel has grown up around computers all his life. Building computers and learning new technologies is natural to him and teaching others encourages him to learn more every day. As an Army veteran he has served his country and earned skills that evolved him to be a better leader and effective communicator. In 2019 he received his Associates Degree in Information Technology and Services, since then he has continued his thirst for knowledge expanding into networking and programming. Studying for his Amazon Web Services certification as the internet service industry continues to move towards the cloud, Daniel wants to push his abilities further and help others accomplish their goals with technology and customer service.
After 22 years in the military as an Avionics Specialist and Logistics Network Manager, Michael started his IT career in the Healthcare industry as a Help Desk Associate in 2015. He then promoted to an Infrastructure Specialist. His thirst for learning new skills gave him an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly dedicated Professionals that relocated Laser Spine Institutes IT Infrastructure into their new Corporate Headquarters building in Tampa. He then transferred to a local MSP (Managed Service Provider) and learned valuable skillsets as a Systems Engineer that included IT service delivery, Server Administration, and Patch Management. Michael is an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) and has also earned his MCSA in Windows Server 2012. In 2017, he earned his Security+ certification and has gone back to school to earn his degree in Computer Information Systems. Michael enjoys his off time by spending time with family and friends, photography, and also the occasional round of golf.
